July 31, 2003 Here’s the schedule for the Fayette County Fair today:

Members of a Grange Admitted free until 5 p.m. with proper identification

9 a.m. – Judging Draft Horses Shown at Halter (Horse Arena)

10 a.m. – 4-H Dairy Showmanship and Fitting (Indoor Arena)

1-11 p.m. – Carnival Open

4 p.m. – Calf Dressing Contest (Show Arena)

4:30 p.m. -Family Fun Night Contests (Indoor Arena) Pedal Power Tractor Pull, Snack Food and Farm Chore Relay Race

5 p.m. – Lamb Dressing Contest (Show Arena)

5 p.m. – “Late Summer Vegetables” -Master Gardener Bill Rockwell (Youth Building)

7 p.m. -Dave Martin’s Bullride Mania (Outdoor Arena)

7 p.m. – “Planting Fall Flowers” Master Gardener Cheri Grubbs, (Youth Building)

7 p.m. – Pure Country (Fiddlers’ Building)
