Franklin C. Lewis
Franklin C. Lewis, age 97, of Mount Lebanon, Pa., died Friday, May 30, 2003. He was born April 16, 1906 in Mount Pleasant, Pa., son of Charles Edward Lewis and Nettie Florence Baker Lewis.
Franklin served in the United States Army from September 9, 1943 until September 7, 1945.
He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Hoover Lewis; brother of Grace Lewis Mosier; uncle of Judith Ann Risdon and Edward C. Girard and his wife, Billie Ann. He is also survived by a grandnephew, Stephen Girard, and a grandniece, Sarah Girard Haag.
Friend will be receive at the WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township, Pittsburgh, Pa., today from 6 to 8 p.m. where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 3, at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
