Marion Gail “Dot” (Cooley) Foster, 74 years, of Smithfield, Pa., died Sunday, June 1, 2003 in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born September 6, 1928 in Fairchance, Pa., daughter of Pierce Parker Cooley and Sarah Elsie Cramer Spaw.

Her brother, Robert Cooley, sister, Beverly Fiala, son-in-law, James A. DiMatteo, and parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children: Jacquelyn Churby and husband Harry, Smithfield, Pa., Margie Williams and husband Van, Grass Valley, California, Kathy Foster Spak, Twila DiMatteo and Patti Mickey and husband, Jim, all of Smithfield, Pa., James R. Foster and wife Vicky, Fairchance, Gail Clevenger and husband Charles, Fairchance, and Jay Foster and wife Erica, Lake Lynn, Pa.; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Janet Jones and Wilma Stevens, and brother, William Milliron, all of California state; and her former husband, Jack R. Foster.

Private services will be held at a later date.
