Harold Eugene “Gene” Payne
Harold Eugene “Gene” Payne, age 56, of Grindstone, Pa., died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 5, 2003 in his home. He was born on August 16, 1946 in Uniontown, Pa.
“Gene” was employed as a Welder by Weavertown Environmental.
He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Navy.
He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth B. Payne and Mollie I. Baker Payne, and a brother, Dennis Payne who died in infancy.
He is survived by his wife, Debra DeBord Payne; two sons: Heath and Bryan; and a brother, Robert T. Payne and his wife, Patty, of Masontown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the H. DAVID McELROY FUNERAL HOME, 803 Main Street, McClellandtown, Pa., today, Sunday, June 8, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted in the Funeral Home this evening (Sunday) at 8 p.m. with the Rev. James Jobes officiating.
