Sarah M. Chidester Uhrin
Sarah M. Chidester Uhrin, age 72, of Star Junction, Pa., died Friday, June 6, 2003 at 9 a.m. in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born September 3, 1930 in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of the late John and Mary Ann Chidester.
Sarah was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and also The Circle Club both in Uniontown, Sokol Club of Perryopolis, Star Junction Fish and Game Club, and The National Shrine of Washington, D.C.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Uhrin Sr.; one daughter, Mrs. Ron (Arlene) Bock of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; stepson, Robert A. Uhrin Jr. of Irwin, Pa.; step daughter, Mrs. William (Beth Ann) Bentz Jr. of Grindstone, Pa.; grandchildren: Heather Hensh, Rhonda Smeltzer, Christopher Evan Bentz, and Brande Le Uhrin; great grandson, Robbie Smeltzer; sister, Mrs. Edra Bailey of Uniontown, Pa.; brother, Joseph Chidester of Coolspring, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., today and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, June 10, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Dr. Thomas Whitehead officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
A Prayer Service will be held Monday evening at 8 p.m.
