Traffic restrictions set Traffic will be restricted to one lane along Route 119 in both the north and southbound directions in Connellsville beginning today, as PennDOT installs a new traffic signal at the intersection with York Avenue.
According to Valerie Petersen, transportation department community relations coordinator, arrow boards will be used to alert travelers of the lane restrictions.
“PennDOT wants to remind motorists that use of headlights while traveling through a marked work zone is mandatory,” said Petersen.
Minor delays through the area should be expected, Petersen said.
Ceremony to be televised
The Laurel Highlands School District will televise graduation ceremonies today and Saturday at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Charter Cable Channel 21, CUTV.
