Three cited
City police said they cited three men after responding to a report of a large crowd involved in a fight in the Pershing Court parking lot at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday.
Michael Howard, 28, of 38 Dunlap St., Nelson Jones, 19, of 74 Pershing Court and Norman H. Craggette Sr., 22, of 50 Pershing Court were cited for disorderly conduct, police said. Officers took a baseball bat from one man who was among 60 to 70 people gathered in the lot.
Several city officers and state police troopers responded to the incident. City police said they are providing the firm that manages Pershing Court with names of those involved in the incident and they might be evicted.

Roadway collapses
The berm and shoulder of Route 201 in a construction zone near Adelaide Road collapsed Friday, causing a cement truck that was traveling south through the zone to roll onto its right side at 2:10 p.m., state police said. The driver, Terry L. Darrell, 43, was not injured.

Man charged
Simple assault and harassment charges were filed against Nathaniel Chandler of Fairchance for allegedly pulling Michelle Chandler’s hair and repeatedly hitting her in a North Morgantown Street residence May 29, state police said.

Burglary reported
Danielle White of 30 N. Gordon St. reported that four sets of gold earrings were stolen from her home at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, city police said.

Someone stole a blue and white stroller owned by Malek Hopes of South Gallatin Avenue from her porch Tuesday, city police said.

Two women stole about $50 worth of clothing from the Family Dollar Store on Morgantown Street at 7:13 p.m. Tuesday, city police said. Two men accompanied them, and they fled in a white Chevrolet Corsica.

State police said Grace Hunt of Uniontown and Jacqueline Will-iams of Monessen suffered minor injuries in a 4:40 p.m. Monday accident on Route 51 near Randall’s Restaurant.

An unknown motorist struck a car owned by Danielle Chiovitti, 19, of Brownsville at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday when it was parked along Columbus Road, state police said.

Car hits tree
State police said Charles Dean Jr., 19, of Uniontown and his two passengers were not injured when the vehicle in which they were riding struck a tree along a Route 21 northbound off-ramp June 3.

Vehicle accident
Homer Richter, 62, a passenger in a vehicle driven by Martha Richter of South Connellsville, was injured in a two-vehicle accident June 2 along East Crawford Avenue at the Dairy Queen, state police said. The other driver was Julie Porterfield, 17, of Acme.

Hit-and-run probed
An unknown driver struck a vehcile driven by Victor Fike, 41, of Farmington, pushing his vehicle into a vehicle driven by George Mikolowsky, 23, of Uniontown on Route 21 at Work Place Road on Monday, state police said. Fike suffered a minor injury.

Someone stole Robin Hall’s son’s Huffy bicycle from her Jefferson Street residence Tuesday, city police said.

Someone shot two holes in a window on Ann Kushner’s Clarendon Avenue house, possibly with a BB gun, city police said.

Man jailed
Bryan Horner, 27, of 302 Washington Ave. was arrested June 2 at 1:35 p.m. and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin after borough police allegedly found 43 blue packets with suspected heroin in his front pocket.
Police Chief Steve Silbaugh said police, responding to a complaint of drug activity at the wharf, found Horner and two friends there. After one man fled the scene on foot, the other two were checked for weapons and police found drugs in Horner’s front pocket.
Horner was arraigned before District Justice William Pelkey and sent to Washington County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond. During a preliminary hearing, Pelkey ordered the charges held for court, Silbaugh said. Horner remains in jail.

Man arrested
Police arrested Brandon Kramich, 21, of Hill Street, Vestaburg, on charges of hit-and-run involving a person and hit-and-run involving a vehicle.
According to police, Kramich allegedly struck a 2002 Honda motorcycle parked on the 200 block of Union Street at 12:43 a.m. April 23. When the owner of the motorcycle, Jacob Stefani, tried to stop Kramich from hitting his bike, Kramich allegedly hit Stefani with his vehicle and carried him up the road before he fell off, suffering minor injuries, police said.
Kramich is in Washington County Jail on unrelated charges. He is awaiting arraignment for the above charges.

Man charged
Police charged Christopher Flory of Highland Ridge Road, Claysville, with rape and aggravated indecent assault for allegedly sexually assaulting a 20-year-old female while she was unconscious Dec. 5, 2002, at 3:58 a.m. in the Jefferson at California apartments.

Three charged
Police charged Ian Flaherty, 18, of Pike Run Drive with receiving stolen property, a felony charge, and hit-and-run on unattended property after he allegedly wrecked a stolen vehicle, owned by Tim Rowan of Daisytown, into a shed at 700 Orchard St. on May 18.
Police said a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old boy from Daisytown also were in the vehicle and were charged with criminal conspiracy to receive stolen property and receiving stolen property.

Four charged
A 17-year-old Daisytown boy was charged with three felonies, including receiving stolen property, conspiracy to receive stolen property and hit-and-run after he allegedly wrecked a stolen vehicle owned by Theresa Rowan Brown of Uniontown into a building at 79 Skyline Drive on June 2 at 6:50 p.m., police said.
Also in the vehicle were Marlon Lamont Mitchell, 18, of Millview Street, Uniontown, who was charged with filing false reports; a 15-year-old Daisytown boy, charged with criminal conspiracy to receive stolen property and filing false reports; and a 14-year-old Uniontown girl, charged with filing false reports, police said.

Officer crashes
A Centerville police officer has requested medical leave after a crash involving a police cruiser.
According to Mayor Frank Stanko, officer Joe Impiccini asked to be taken off the schedule and will receive six weeks off.
Stanko confirmed that Impiccini was involved in an accident in May but would not comment any further.
“I have no comment at this time. All the information has not been evaluated and the incident is still under investigation,” he said.
The accident caused $6,000 in damages to the police cruiser, which since has been repaired.
Impiccini was not injured in the accident.

Men arrested
According to state police, Michael Walters and Clarence Roberts, both of Collier, were arrested and taken to Greene County Jail on a $10,000 straight cash bond after they allegedly stole items off David Kovach’s property, which borders Route 88, at 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Gas stolen
State police said someone stole $20 worth of gasoline from the Interstate 79 Exxon service station at 11:28 a.m. Tuesday.

Property damaged
State police said that someone started a John Deere bulldozer was parked along Temple Ridge Road at a state gamelands parking area between midnight June 5 and 9 a.m. Monday and drove it across a pasture, allowing it to run into the woods.

Indecent exposure
State police said a 20- to 30-year-old man driving a red two-door hatchback exposed himself to several juveniles who were playing basketball at the intersection of Plum Alley and Mulberry Alley at 2:46 p.m. Monday.
