Colby James Cole, age 5, of Miller Farm, Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday, June 12, 2003 at home with his family by his side.

He was born February 14, 1998 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Jack J. Cole and Laura Gundersen/Maskarine Cole.

Colby was baptized in and attended New Salem Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his father and mother he is survived by a brother, Cameron James Cole; his paternal grandmother and grandfather, Robert and Pearl Miller Cole of New Salem, Pa.; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Hanon Maskarine of Masontown, Pa.; his maternal grandfather, George Gundersen of Duquesne, Pa.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pa., today, Sunday, June 15, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. in New Salem Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Marnie Abraham Russell and Rev. Fr. William J. Kiel officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, 555 Grant Street, Suite 425, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Western PA/WV Chapter, Two Gateway Center, 13 North, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 and New Salem Presbyterian Church, Post Office Box 455, New Salem, PA 15468.

Visitation was also held in the Dearth Funeral Home, 35 South Mil Street, New Salem, Pa., on Friday after 7 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
