Robert Stanley Groves
Robert Stanley Groves, 52, of Uniontown, Pa., died Sunday, June 15, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born May 13, 1951 in Uniontown, a son of the late Robert Edward and Daisy Mae Miller Groves.
Mr. Groves was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Army and was a coal miner with ITEC Corporation.
Surviving are his wife Sheila G. Minnick Groves; four children, Brant Nara of Washington State, Kimberly Nara of Winchester, Va., Jamie Cornell of Cape Coral, Florida and John Jason Karpel of Uniontown; four grandchildren; a brother, James Groves and his wife Elaine of Hopwood, Pa. and a sister Marla Beth Whalen and her husband Donald of North Ridgeville, Ohio.
Private services are under the direction of the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa.
