William J. Cole
William J. Cole, 76, of Hunker, R.D. 1, passed away Monday, June 16, 2003 at 4:29 a.m. in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. Bill was a devoted father, grandfather and brother who possessed an easy going and pleasant demeanor. He was a retired custodian at the Redstone Highlands Presbyterian Care Center where he had worked for eight years. He was a faithful member of the Armbrust Wesleyan Church and was educated in the East Huntingdon Township School System.
Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family; his three children, James William Cole and wife Becky Jo of Hunker R.D. 1, Beverly Bea Holsopple and husband Gary of Cambridge, VT. And William Allen Cole and wife Carol of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Michael Cole, Jeffrey Holsopple, David Cole, Ross Holsopple, Brian Cole and Jason Cole; five great grandchildren; a sister Betty Cole Firmstone and husband William of Owensdale; four brothers Raymond E. Cole and wife Lavonne of Fostoria, Ohiio, Donald P. Cole and wife Madge of Hawkeye, Richard Cole and wife Joan of Salem, Ohio and Dale E. Cole and wife Louise of Bullskin Township and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring Street, Scottdale. Additional viewing will be held on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. in Armbrust Wesleyan Church.
