Donald L. Baker II
Donald L. “Donny” Baker II, 24, of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 4:50 p.m., on Monday, June 16, 2003, at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., as the result of an automobile accident in Cumberland Township, early Sunday morning.
He was born Jan. 25, 1979, in Washington, Pa., a son of Donald L. and Belinda J. Hartley Baker of Carmichaels.
Mr. Baker resided in Carmichaels, all of his life and was a 1997 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School. He studied electrical engineering technology at California University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Baker was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carmichaels, and was attending the Fairdale Free Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed billiards and baseball, and was a member of a local Frisbee team in Carmichaels. Mr. Baker was employed by Grace Plumbing of Carmichaels.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Ryan R. Baker, at home; a sister, Heather E. Baker, at home; paternal grandparents, Paul and Grace Baker of Carmichaels; paternal great-grandmother, Blanche Baker of Nemacolin, Pa.; maternal step grandmother, Anne M. Hartley of Crucible, Pa.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Ray Hartley and Leona A. Hartley.
