Susie Lee Binion
Susie Lee Binion, 82, of Filbert, Pa., passed away Saturday, June 14, 2003 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Larry Cash. She was born June 20, 1920 in Isabella, Pa., daughter of the late Joseph and Beulah Binion.
She was a former resident of Cardale, Pa., and a long time member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church of Cardale.
Susie was predeceased by her parents; one daughter, Barbara A. Binion and brothers William and Solomon Binion.
Surviving are four children, John Binion and Vivian (Peggy) Pine, both of Philadephia, Pa., Lois Cash and husband Larry of Filbert, Pa. and Andrew Binion of Uniontown, Pa.; one brother, Joseph Binion, Jr. of Rochester, N.Y. and one sister Ruth King of Buffalo, N.Y.; a sister-in-law Gladys Binion of Rochester, N.Y. and a number of grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received in the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Cardale, Pa., on Thursday, June 19, 2003 from 5 to 9 p.m., where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. James R. Calloway officiating, assisted by the Rev. Robert Crable, pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Fairchance, Pa.
Interment in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Services are under the direction of the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 E. Main St., Uniontown, Pa.
