Iris Lee Lowry Krifko
Iris Lee Lowry Krifko, age 70, of Uniontown, Pa., died Friday morning, June 20, 2003 in Mount Macrina Manor with her loving family at her side.
She was born February 21, 1933 in Mount Independence, Pa.
Iris was an avid reader.
She loved working in her flower garden and crocheting and has made several handmade quilts.
For the past several years she also painted beautiful pictures.
Iris was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Bell.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Michael Krifko; her loving children: Sharon Krifko Matich and her husband, Michael Matich, Linda Krifko Bevans, Jeannie Krifko Blake, and son-in-law, Law Bart Blake, all of Uniontown, Pa.; three grandchildren: Windy Matich, Megan Matich, and Brandon Blake; her mother, Mildred Lowry Stiner of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; brothers and sisters: Larry Stiner, Gary Stiner, Sue Stiner, Patty Stiner, Bernadette Crayton, France Butler, Agnes Stiner, Barbara Stiner, Stephen Stiner, Pam Hixen and Terri Stiner; several nieces and nephews; and her dearest and closest friend, Edie Bacha of Uniontown, Pa.
The Family will receive Friends in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, June 23, until 10 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. William Rodahaver officiating.
Interment will follow in St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
