Katherine D.Rusinack Liptak
Katherine D. Rusinack Liptak, age 97, of Grindstone, Pa., died Friday, June 20, 2003 in Cherry Tree Nursing Home, Uniontown, Pa. She was born June 12, 1906 in Hostetter, Pa., daughter of Peter Rusinack and Katherine Koleck Rusinack.
She was a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church in Grindstone and The Christian Mothers.
Her husband, Mike Liptak, sister, Mary Mertz, brother, John Rusinack, and parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by two Children: Catherine and husband Don Veach, Augusta, West Virginia, and Michael S. Liptak and wife Sara, Grindstone, Pa.; seven Grandchildren: Karen and husband Frank Angelilli, Michael S. Liptak III and fianc’e Rosemary Kennedy, James Liptak and wife Terri, Bernard Liptak and wife Cheryl, Thomas Liptak and wife Lora, Kathy Pellick, and Patricia Liptak and Robert all of Grindstone, Pa.; nine Great Grandchildren: John Lowery and wife Marsha, Jennifer Masney, Ashley Liptak, Jeremy Liptak and Deanna Liptak, Brittany Liptak and Brooke Liptak, Brandy Pellick and Andy Pellick; and one Great Great Grandson, Tyler Pellick.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, June 24, at 9 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Grindstone, with Rev. Fr. John A. Sedlak as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
A Vigil Service will be held Monday at 2 p.m.
The Partner Parishes will recite the Rosary on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
