William S. Veres
William S. Veres, age 83, of Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of Brownsville, Pa., died Tuesday, June 24, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born January 28, 1920 in Brownsville, Pa., son of Steve Veres and Mary Telenko Veres.
He was a Veteran of World War II and a member of United Mine Workers of America.
A sister, Thelma Veres Sabatini, and parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Pinardi Veres; two children: Bernard F. Veres and wife, Kimberly, Philadelphia, Pa., and Mary Ann Jaram and husband Edward, Scottdale, Pa.; one grandson, Daniel Veres; sister, Anna Veres, Brownsville, Pa.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Friday, June 27, at 8:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 9 a.m. in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville, Pa., with Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
