Joseph E. Lockard
Joseph E. Lockard, 91, a 10-year resident of Washington, Pa., former longtime resident of Point Marion, Pa., who owned and operated Lockard’s Amoco in Point Marion for many years then retired as a Drivers License Examiner with the Pennsylvania State Police in Washington, Pa., United States Army World War II Veteran, 1929 graduate of Point Marion High School who also attended Bucknell University, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 in the Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa. “Joe” is survived by his son, Fred W. Lockard of Washington, Pa.; sisters: Doris Lockard Gaylord of Indian Trail, North Carolina, and Amelia Lockard Moule of Arizona; nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, Pa., on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, June 30, until the Service at 11 a.m.
