Connellsville Sportsmen post trap shooting schedule
The Connellsville Sportsmen’s Association will begin trap shooting practice from 5-10 p.m. Tuesday and continue until Oct. 28 at the club. In addition to practice targets, the club will offer ATA (Amateur Trapshooting Association) registered targets.
Along with trap shooting, the club will also offer skeet shooting during the same time period.
The public is invited and encouraged to participate in these club activities and to go and see the newly constructed skeet building.
Sunday, March 23 the club will have a ‘Shamrock Shoot.” The shoot is open to the public and will be a 100 bird event.
The event will consist of 50 (16 Yard Targets) and 50 (Handicap Targets).
The price for the targets and lunch is $20, and shooters will also have the option of a Lewis Class Purse for an additional $10.00.
Special “Shamrock Targets” will be thrown randomly and, if broken, will win a prize. Sign up for this event will begin at 9 a.m. at the club.
The Connellsville Sportsmen’s Association holds its monthly meetings at 7 p.m. the last Tuesday of each month at the club. All current members are encouraged to come to the meetings and become involved with the activities of the club.
The club will change gate and building keys April 1. The cost for new keys is $10 and keys may be picked up at the regular club meeting or at Bikes Unlimited in Connellsville.
