Ronald P. Good
Ronald “Ron” P. Good, 65, of Adah, Pa., passed away Thursday, February 27, 2003 in Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born on March 1, 1937 in Uniontown, Pa., son of John Good and Elizabeth (Phillips) Good.
“Ron” was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Masontown, Pa.
He retired from Hills Department Store in Uniontown where he had been the Store Manager for many years.
He served his country proudly in the United States Navy and was a member of General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pa., and Faith-Gray-McArdle V.F.W. Post 4584 in Masontown, Pa.
“Ron” graduated from the former North Union High School, Uniontown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ed Good and John Good.
Left to cherish his memory are his sisters and brothers: Irene Wilson of New Jersey, Tom Good and Bill Good both of Hopwood, Pa., and Betty Balawender of Uniontown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, March 1, at 11 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, with Rev. Fr. James F. Bump as Celebrant.
Interment followed in St. Mary (Nativity) Church Cemetery, Uniontown.
The family requests that donations be made in “Ron’s” memory to All Saints School, 101 West Church Street, Masontown, PA 15461.
