Mary Gradel Albani
Mary Gradel Albani, 85, of Masontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on July 28, 1917 in Woodside, Fayette County, Pa., a daughter of Pete Gradel and Stella Piech Gradel.
Mary was a member of The Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, Faith-Gray-McArdle V. F.W. Post 4584 Auxiliary, American Legion Post 423 Auxiliary, and The Pals Club Ladies Auxiliary all in Masontown.
Mary will be lovingly remembered for her love and devotion to her Family and for her cooking talent!
Her husband, Angelo “Buff” Albani, died in 1995. Also deceased are five sisters, Minnie Bozick, Sophia Corsetti, Ruby Krosunger, Catherine Donnelly, Bessie Margheret, and her parents.
She is survived by her beloved children: Thomas E. Albani and wife, Gloria, of Hubbard, Ohio, and Diana Albani Farrier and husband, Paul Farrier, of Masontown, Pa.; five grandchildren: Dr. Thomas E. Albani Jr., M.D., and wife, Karen, of Youngstown, Ohio, Michael Angelo Albani of Los Angeles, California, Dr. Steven Albani, C. O., and wife, Beth, of Youngstown, Ohio, Mary Ann Farrier and Joseph Farrier both of Masontown, Pa.; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Ann Bounagura of New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 4, until 9:30 a.m. when a Panachida Service will be held.
A Funeral Service follows at 10 a.m. in The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, Masontown, with Rev. Fr. Rumen Stoychev as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Masontown.
Parastas will be held in the Funeral Home tonight at 7:30 p.m.
