Fayette County District Justice Wendy Dennis, who had her post eliminated under a proposed plan to cut county justices, will not have enough time to retire at the end of her term in 2006. To retire and collect a state pension, justices must serve 18 years and be over 60 or serve 30 years. Information on state retirement was incorrectly relayed to the Herald-Standard by a state judiciary representative.
