Community calendar – March 5
ST. JOAN OF ARC PARISH, Farmington, will hold their annual Lenten fish dinners on Fridays, March 7 through April 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the church social hall. Dinners include baked or fried fish, French fries, baked potato with baked fish dinner only, and other choices. Dessert and drinks are included. Take-out dinners are available by calling 724-329-4522 during dinner hours. Stations of the Cross will be held at 7:30 p.m. each Friday. CARMICHAELS SENIOR CENTER will be holding fish fry’s every Friday during Lent, March 7 through April 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $5.75 and includes fish sandwich, French fries or baked potato, coleslaw, cake, beverage. Individuals will also be sold.
NORTH UNION HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1959 will hold a reunion committee meeting at 6 p.m. on March 12 at the Amvets Post 103, Hopwood. All classmates are welcome. For more information or for dinner reservations, call 724-437-6354 or 724-439-2923.
ALLISON 1 FIRE DEPARTMENT will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday. Plans for the May 10 hog roast will be discussed.
BROWNIE TROOP 3078 will be selling Girl Scout Cookies Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shop ‘n’ Save store, Route 21, Masontown.

A.J. MCMULLEN MIDDLE SCHOOL and Marclay Elementary School will hold a talent show at 7 p.m. Friday at the A.M. McMullen School, 4773 National Pike, Farmington. Admission is $1.
AMERICAN LEGION POST 51 AND THE CATHOLIC WAR VETERANS CLUB of Uniontown will co-sponsor a cash bash Saturday at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Post home, North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown. A limited number of tickets are available by calling 724-438-9674 or 724-437-1669. Event is open to the public. Food and refreshments will be served.
