A representative of Haas Auto told police Sunday that someone jacked up a 1995 Honda Prelude and removed the lug nuts in an attempt to steal the wheels off the vehicle.

Criminal trespass
Mark Bayne of 356 Stuckslager Rd., Grindstone, told police Monday that someone known to him came onto his property without his permission.

Crash
State police at Belle Vernon said Kelly L. Smith, 30, of Greensburg lost control of her vehicle on Route 51 Monday, struck a cement median and rolled over. Smith and a 17-year-old minor were treated at Uniontown Hospital for injuries. State police were assisted by Smock and Flatwoods volunteer fire companies.

One-vehicle accident
State police at Uniontown said Patricia M. Zitney, 30, of Vanderbilt slid on ice Monday on Route 51, across from Mountainview Plaza, causing her vehicle to roll over onto its roof.
South Union Twp.
Two-vehicle collision
State police said vehicles driven by June Burks of Uniontown and James M. Norris of Uniontown collided Feb. 22 while heading south on a legislative route in South Union Township. South Union Township Volunteer Fire Department and Fayette County EMS assisted state police at the scene.

Vehicle hits building
State police said Sheldon D. Taylor of Clinton, Ohio, lost control of his 1995 Ford station wagon Feb. 20 on Route 119 less than a mile north of Route 982, hit a utility pole and then hit Fat Boy’s Place Inc. causing extensive damage to the building.

Vehicles collide
State police said Kristina Lynn Sawyer, 22, of Uniontown was treated at Uniontown Hospital Feb. 21 following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Connellsville and Coal streets. Eliza J. Billy, 32, of Newell was the driver of the other vehicle. He was not injured, according to police. Police said North Union Township Volunteer Fire Department and Fayette EMS assisted at the scene.

Gas stolen
State police said someone pumped $27.67 worth of gas at the Texaco Food Mart at the intersection of routes 166 and 40 on Feb. 26 and left without paying.

On-vehicle accident
State police said Harley D. Smithley, 20, of Mount Morris, lost control of his 1989 Oldsmobile Sunday on New Geneva Road and struck a culvert.

State police found a vehicle belonging to Jumarh M. Lenyee, 24, of Morgantown, W.Va., on Feb. 28 along Misty Lane in Lemont Furnace.

State police said they found a burned 1995 Ford Truck belonging to Jeffrey Ward of Connellsville Feb. 22 in a field near Breakneck Road.

Mailbox blown
Rose Ann Rectanus, 39, of Farmington told state police Tuesday that someone blew up her mailbox. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.

Fence damaged
Leslie H. Fields of 84 Lawn Ave. told police Monday that someone damaged a 15-foot section of wooden fence between Saturday and Monday.

State police
Lt. Sheldon A. Epstein, Belle Vernon station commander, said his officers issued 290 traffic citations in February, were called to 48 accidents with 33 injuries, investigated five hit and run accidents and issued 22 driving under the influence of alcohol citations.
Epstein additionally said police issued 140 traffic warnings notices, assisted 71 motorists and answered 407 other police calls.
