Blaine E. Chrise
Blaine E. “Tex” Chrise, 71, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., passed away Friday, March 7, 2003 in his residence. He was born August 3, 1931 in Fayette County, Pa.
“Tex” retired as Sales Manager of Central Lincoln Mercury, Harrisburg, Pa.
He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a member of The Mechanicsburg Club and also the V. F. W. in Dillsburg, Pa.
Blaine is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John E. and Melodee Chrise of New Bern, North Carolina; a daughter, Jeanette E. Egerer at home; a daughter, Joy E. Shirey of Las Vegas, Nevada; a son and daughter-in-law, Edwin L. and Jenna Stone of Gaithersburg, Maryland; a brother, Norman Sanner of Charlotte, North Carolina; two grandchildren: Jillian Mary Catherine Chrise and Joseph David Chrise both of New Bern, North Carolina; and his faithful companion, Loki, at home.
A son, James E. Chrise, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held in the MYERS FUNERAL HOME INC., 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 on Monday, March 10, from 7 to 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. William C. Butts officiating.
Friends are invited to join with Family for his burial in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg, Pa., (where his mother, Dorothy Sanner, is also buried) on Tuesday, March 11, at 2 p.m.
