George Yezek
George “Jigsaw” Yezek, 91, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., who had been employed as a Coal Miner by the Pennsylvania Department of Mines and as a Carpenter in the Mount Pleasant area and was also a former member of Mount Pleasant Church of God, died Thursday, March 6, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret Pravlik Yezek; sons: George “Sonny” Yezek and wife, Janet, of England, Gerald Yezek and wife, Patty, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., Ralph Yezek and wife, Rebecca, of Connellsville, Pa., Gary Pravlik and wife, Mary, and Carl Pravlik and wife, Patricia, all of Mount Pleasant; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; a brother, Milton Yezek and wife, Kitty, of South Carolina; and a sister Eleanor Yezek Szczygiel of Mount Pleasant.
Friends will be received in the Eugene G. Saloom Funeral Home Inc., 730 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, March 10, until the Funeral Service at 11 a.m.
