ST. JOHN ALTAR SOCIETY of Perryopolis will serve fish sandwiches and side dishes every Friday during Lent, except for Good Friday. Orders may be placed on Fridays only by calling 724-797-1210 and picked up in the social center from noon to 6:30 p.m. Sandwiches are $3.50. Patrons are to provide their own containers for take-outs. JO KRIZ CIRCLE of the Asbury United Methodist Church, will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Zoe Bland will present the program, “Mexico’s Garment Industry – Jesus’ sisters.’ Members will also attend the Lenten luncheon following circle.
NEW SALEM AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY UNIT 753, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
CALVARY UNITED METHODIST WOMEN will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Wesley Classroom. Tina Whitehead will discuss children and education. New members will be recognized.

UNIONTOWN SERVICE LEAGUE, West Main Street, Uniontown, is holding a $2 bag sale this week. The shop will be closed on March 15 for inventory. All proceeds from sales go to local charities.
NEARLY NEW SHOP, located in the basement of the Hopwood United Methodist Church, Hopwood, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Clothes, jewelry and other items will be on sale.
