Elizabeth F. Fike
Elizabeth F. Fike, 89, of 2194 Squire Fike Road, Friendsville, Maryland, died Sunday, March 9, 2003 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Md. She was born November 29, 1913 in Markleysburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Marshall and Ada (Keefer) Frazee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Paul Fike on February 19, 1974; a son Russell Fike Jr. and four sisters Lottie Jackson, Helen Fike, Pearl Reckard and Edna Hemmit.
Mrs. Fike was a member of Asher Glade Church of the Brethren. She was a retired nursing assistant for the former Spear Convalescent Home, Markleysburg and was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, George L. Fike and wife Janet and Larry E. Fike, all of Friendsville, Lowell V. Fike and wife Peggy of Farmington; a daughter-in-law Nancy Fike, Friendsville; a sister Eva Jenkins, Uniontown; three grandchildren, Paul Pike, Barbara Jo Fike and Diane Frazee and four great grandchildren, Joshua Lee Fike, Scott Fike, Stephanie Frazee and Dylan Frazee.
Friends will be received at the NEWMAN FUNERAL HOMES, P.A., 943 Second Avenue, Friendsville, Md. today from 1 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 1 p.m. where services will be conducted with the Rev. Joe Brown officiating.
Interment will be in Asher Glade Cemetery.
