Dorothy E. Zvonkovich
Dorothy Elizabeth Zvonkovich, 80, of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and formerly of Bobtown, Pa., died Sunday, March 2, 2003, in the Manor Care Mayfield Nursing Home.
Born at Allison, Pa., on Nov. 15, 1922, she was a daughter of John and Kata Humic Zvonkovich.
She was a graduate of Point Marion High School, retired from General Electric, and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, both of Cleveland.
Surviving are the following brother and sisters, Joseph Zvonkovich, Helen Capriotti and Pauline Zvonkovich, all of Fairfax Station, Va., and Anna Haney of Santa Rosa, Calif.; her loving longtime companion, Francis M. “Frank” Andresko; and several nieces and nephews and their families.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa., on Friday, March 14th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday until 9:15 a.m., when a prayer service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m., in St. Ignatius R.C. Church, Bobtown, with the Rev. Fr. Lawrence V. Holpp as celebrant. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. A Parish Vigil Service will be held, in the funeral home, on Friday at 8:30 p.m.
