Frances F. Rettstatt
Frances F. Rettstatt, 87, of Brownsville, Pa., (Low Hill, Centerville Boro), died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at 10:25 a.m., in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born Feb. 7, 1916, in West Virginia, a daughter of the late Rocco and Marie Constable Favorite.
Mrs. Rettstatt had been employed by the Bethlehem Center Area School District as a cafeteria worker.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fredericktown.
Surviving are a daughter, Melda Lutes of Brownsville, Pa., (Low Hill); two sisters, Josephine Cortes of Cardale, Pa., and Jennie Kaminchak of Fredericktown, Pa.; a grandson, Karl D. Lutes of Roscoe, Pa.; a granddaughter, Krystal Lutes of Brownsville, Pa. (Low Hill); a great-granddaughter, Rhiannon Lutes; two great-grandsons, Stephen Lutes; and Trace Lutes.
Her husband, Karl Clair Rettstatt died April 21, 1979.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., on Saturday, March 15, 2003, in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main St., Beallsville, Pa. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m., on Saturday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Gallagher officiating. Private interment will be in Barren Run Cemetery, Smithton, Pa., at the convenience of the family.
