Edward “Ted” Vincent Tisot
A great man passed on Wednesday, March 12, 2003. He was a man who was proper and kind and a Hero to his family! His tremendous strength amazed all who knew him. He was never one to want accolades or praise. He enjoyed the simple things….mowing his lawn, gardening, tending to his flowers (especially the roses), watching birds, lending a hand to anyone in need, and, above all, being with his family! Recent years had left him incapable of doing these activities. The peace in his passing is that in heaven he will get back to these simple pleasures. “Ted” was born to James and Margaret Tisot on June 17, 1927 in Perryopolis, Pa.
He served in the United States Air Force and later became a Heavy Equipment Operator.
He left behind his wife, Nancy, of 50 years; one daughter, Sandra Tisot Chaney and her husband, Morace Chaney; three grandchildren: Jennifer, Amanda and Matthew; one sister Kate Wozniac; and two brothers: James Tisot and David Tisot.
There was no viewing at his request.
Those who wished to pay respects were welcomed at Little Redstone United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 15, 2003 at 2 p.m. Pastor James Pond officiating.
