Art club to meet The Uniontown Art Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday on the second floor of the Uniontown Public Library.

Grand opening set
Masontown Mennonite Church, 291 Mennonite Church Road, Masontown, announces the grand opening of the church’s Kings Kafe on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. This place of sharing features refreshments and activities for all ages. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Adult sharing time with refreshments will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., children and youth activity from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and open Bible study and discussion from 7 to 8 p.m. A light snack will be offered from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Session scheduled
The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program will hold an informational session Tuesday at 5 p.m. in room 206 of California University of Pennsylvania’s Natali Student Center.
CASA trains community volunteers to advocate in court for the best interest of abused and neglected children.
Volunteers provide information and work with the child welfare system to ensure that the children’s needs are met and to ensure they have the opportunity to grow in a safe and loving home.
All volunteers receive training on physical and sexual abuse, substance abuse and domestic violence and gain insight into the workings of the child-welfare and juvenile-court systems.
