Irvin Meeder

Irvin Meeder 82, a resident of Millsboro, Pa., for the past five years who served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during World War II and lived most of his life in Pittsburgh, Pa., where he was born, graduated from public school, and worked as a Supervisor for Plotkin Brothers Supply Company for 47 years, died Friday, March 14, 2003 in Brownsville General Hospital, Brownsville, Pa. He is survived by his wife, Jean Hoge Meeder, with whom he celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary; their son, Duane Meeder of Mount Morris, Pa.; grandson, Jarrod Meeder; and granddaughters: Allison Daniels, Jamie Rohonna, Kristi Rohonna, Kelley Rohonna and Bobbi Monti. Irvin was the last member of his immediate family.

Friends will be received at the Frank Burkus Funeral Home, 26 Mill Street, Millsboro, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday, March 17, until the Service at 10 a.m.
