Marc Stephen”Flick” Ciaramella
Marc Stephen “Flick” Ciaramella, 37, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away suddenly Friday evening, March 14, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born May 27, 1965 in Uniontown, Pa, the son of Francis Ciaramella and Gretchen Magie Ciaramella of Hopwood.
Marc graduated from Laurel Highlands High School and Penn State University and was a member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Carla Lee Ciaramella.
In addition to his loving parents, Marc is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Schiano Ciaramella; his two sons: Christian and Dante; his sister, Julie Ciaramella; his brother, Jeffrey Ciaramella and wife, Susan, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; his niece and Goddaughter, Abigail; his father-in-law, John Schiano and wife, Lori; his mother-in-law, Marion Schiano; brothers-in-law: Giovanni and Giuseppe; and sisters-in-law: Jeanina and Angela Schiano.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 19, until 9 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church (due to restoration at St. John’s), Mill Street, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. William J. Kiel as Celebrant and Rev. Fr. Kenneth J. Zaccagnini, V.F., as Concelebrant.
Entombment follows in Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a special college fund that has been established for Marc’s sons, Christian and Dante, in care of the Ciaramella family.
