Sinbad J. Malaspino
Sinbad J. Malaspino, 90, of Ralph, Pa., passed away Sunday, March 16, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born July 31, 1912, in Kingston, Westmoreland County, Pa., a son of the late Antonio and Angelina Guerrieri Malaspino. Sinbad was a member of the First Christian Church, Republic, retired from U.S. Steel’s Maple Creek Mine and was a member of UMWA Local 1248.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Christine Vaclivik Malaspino in 1960, his second wife, Sylvia Dickson Malaspino in 1994; sisters Thomasina DelSignore, Katherine Yaugo and Amelia Petro and brothers John and Delfino Malaspino.
Surviving are a daughter Luana Albenze and her husband Philip of Florida; two sons, Donald Malaspino and his wife Joann of Chalk Hill and Douglas Malaspino of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and sisters Mary Matis of Republic and Rose Mocknik of Papillon, Nebraska.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Pastor John Bodine officiating.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
