Uniontown man celebrates 90 years

A party was held in celebration of Joseph E. Fodor’s 90th birthday on Friday, March 7, at his Uniontown home. A former principal at Clark Elementary School in the Laurel Highlands School District, Fodor worked in the educational field for more than 30 years.

An Air Force veteran of World War II, he is a past commander of the VFW Post 47 in Uniontown and the American Legion Post 51.

He is a graduate of California State Teachers College and holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
