Richard A. “Rick” Kazimer, Sr.
Richard A. “Rick” Kazimer, Sr., 41, of Uniontown, Pa. , passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2003 at his home. He was born July 16, 1961 in Uniontown, a son of Virginia E. (Stockton) Kazimer of Uniontown and the late Rudolph J. Kazimer. He served in the United States Army overseas, during peacetime, in Germany and was a member of the Army Reserves for nine years.
“Rick” was a very bright person who was both fascinated by and talented at using computers.
In addition to his mother, “Rick” is survived by his wife of 16 years, Rita Marie (Yauger) Kazimer; his children, Richard Montgomery Kazimer, Richard Allen Kazimer and Tara Lynn Kazimer, all at home; three brothers, Rudolph “Rudy” J. Kazimer Jr. and wife Judy of Carmichaels, John R. Kazimer and wife Sandy of Washington, D.C., and Robert “Bob” S. Kazimer of Uniontown; a sister Deborah J. Callahan of Dawson; and the following nieces and nephews, Michael Kazimer, John Kazimer, Scott Kazimer, Denise Kazimer, Robbie Kazimer, Libby Kazimer, Becky Kazimer, Kurt Callahan and Joshua Callahan.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES, INC., a Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 9:30 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held, with the Rev. Fr. Alexander L. Pleban officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery where Military Rites will be accorded.
