Margaret Miller
Margaret Pozonsky Miller, 90, of Brownsville, Pa., died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, in Beverly Health Care, Uniontown, Pa. She was born Aug. 17, 1912, in Provident, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Mary Kuba Pozonsky.
She was a registered nurse with Brownsville General Hospital for over 40 years.
Margaret was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ernest S. Miller Sr.; a son, John R. Miller; a brother Michael Pozonsky; and three sisters, Anne Pozonsky, Mary Holupka and Ethel Karlock.
Surviving are three children, Ernest S. Miller Jr., of Brownsville, Pa., Ralph and wife, Miriam Miller of Laurel, Md., and Mary Ann and husband, Robert Cowie of Columbus, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Ernie Miller, Monica Loskey, Gracelynn McKnight, Simone Huey, Larry and Douglas Miller, Paula Hunchuck and Michael Hunchuck; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in the Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery. St. Peter’s Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary today at 3 p.m. Visitation was also held on Wednesday, March 19, 2003, from 6 to 9 p.m.
