Pauline F. Stanya Miller, 85, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born June 23, 1917, in Fairchance, Pa., a daughter of the late Michael and Ella Fabian Stanya.

Also preceding her in death were her first husband, Milton Swaney; her second husband, Harry R. Miller; and a brother and several sisters.

Surviving are a son, Donald Swaney and his wife, Mary Ellen of Hopwood, Pa.; a daughter, Freda Irene Cole and her husband, Louis of Lemont Furnace, Pa; three grandchildren, Donald Swaney and his, Mary, Ronald Swaney and his wife, Lisa and Crystal Ivar and her husband, Andy; five great-grandchildren, Donny, Sara, Zachary, Emily and Kathryn; and a sister, Helen Janosik of Hagerstown, Md.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday until 10 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating. Private interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
