Wallet found

State police said a brown leather trifold wallet containing documents with the name Anthony Browan Evans of Brownfield was found Tuesday at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Any person with information or who wishes to claim the wallet is asked to call the state police at 724-439-7111.

Ruffsdale

Fatal crash

State police said a woman killed in a one-vehicle accident late Tuesday night in East Huntingdon Township has been identified as 33-year-old Shari C. Gardner of Ruffsdale.

Police said Gardner died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries to her head and neck after her 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck crossed the center line on Route 3089 about one-half mile north of Ruffsdale

Police said the vehicle traveled up an embankment, hit a tree and rolled onto its passenger side, partially ejecting Gardner from the truck.

Charges filed

Harassment and criminal mischief charges were filed against James Tyler Ritter, 44, of Perryopolis by state Tuesday at District Justice Michael Defino’s office for an incident that happened at the Grindstone Water Pump House, off Grindstone Road.

Police said Ritter struck Gloria Jean Baker, 42, of Uniontown, on the head and back and smashed a glass on Baker’s windshield, causing minor chips in the windshield. Police further said that Ritter damaged the ignition switch and dented the passenger-side door of Baker’s vehicle.

Harassment

State police charged Dale Allen Daniels, 38, and Janice Kay Daniels, 40, both of Bullskin Township, with harassment following an altercation March 18 at 539 Kreinbrook Hill Rd.

Recovered vehicle

State police found a burned 1994 GMC truck belonging to Paula Brewer of Hopwood on Race Path Road.

Stolen property

Alexis Bisch, 45, of New Salem told police that someone took a gas powered leaf blower, a miter saw, snow blower and a walker from his residence sometime between March 15-19.

Dunbar Twp.

Burglary reported

Thomas P. Kraynak and Sherman T. Aldrich, both of Connellsville, told police that someone entered their homes sometime between March 10-15 and removed a diamond ring, a MAC card, a speaker box and a 600-watt amplifier.

North Union Twp.

Door damaged

Marie Turner of Lemont Furnace told police that someone damaged her screen door Wednesday.

Vehicle found

City police reported that they found a vehicle on Johnson Avenue Wednesday that was reported stolen in Pittsburgh.

Bullskin Twp.

Theft/criminal mischief

State police said someone removed a 1992 Chevrolet belonging to Sherwood Edwards of Connellsville from Galley’s Auto along the Mt. Pleasant Road sometime between Feb. 11 and 18.

They also damaged another vehicle belonging to Roger Hearnley of Scottdale at the same location, according to state police.

Edwards’ vehicle was recovered in Youngwood.

Vehicle recovered

John Tajc of 30 Millview St. told police Wednesday that someone took his 1995 Ford Mustang at 8:44 p.m. Police recovered the vehicle at 9:08 p.m. on Lenox Street.
