Aguilar-Mouser
Malden Christian Fellowship Church was the setting for the marriage of Jamie L. Mouser and Abel Aguilar. The Aug. 24 ceremony was officiated by the Rev. David White.
The bride is the daughter of David and Holly Mouser of Pleasantview Road, Smock. The bridegroom is the son of Abel and Evelyn Aguilar of Bronx, N.Y.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a two-piece candlelight gown with strapless top and adorned with pearls and beads. A full skirt with flat pleats and chapel-length train were also adorned with beads and pearls.
Matron of honor was the bride’s cousin, Mindi Breakiron, of Uniontown. Bridesmaids were Melaina Schachte of West Newton, Shanon Leskinen of Hopwood, cousins of the bride; Brenda Antonety, sister of the bridegroom; Elisha Klippi of Farmington, and Brandy Stoneking Fani of Oliver. Destini Klippi was flower girl.
Best man was Kevin Aguilar of Virginia Beach, Va., brother of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Taylor Mouser of Smock, brother of the bride; Tye Denney of Davenport, Iowa, cousin of the bride; Elvis Antonety of Bronx, N.Y., brother-in-law of the groom, and Gary Fani of Oliver and Jake Patton of Charlotte, N.C.
A reception was held aboard the Gateway Clipper’s Party Liner. The riverboat received wedding guests at the dock in Brownsville and spent the evening sailing the Monongahela River.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Uniontown High School. In 1999, she earned an associates degree in broadcasting from Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, W.Va. She is a 2002 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a degree in communications and political science.
The new Mrs. Aguilar is a student at the University of Phoenix working on a masters of education degree. She is employed as a Spanish teacher with Haynie School Inc. of Fayetteville, N.C.
Her husband is a 1993 graduate of Clinton Dewitt High School in Bronx, N.Y., and a 1998 graduate of Herbert H. Lehman College in Bronx, N.Y.
In 2002, he received a master’s degree in public health from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. Also in 2002, he graduated with a doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He is a student in the University of Phoenix’s master of business program.
He is a captain in the United States Army, employed at Davis Dental Clinic at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, N.C.
After honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico, Dr. and Mrs. Aguilar reside at 404 Regency Drive, Fayetteville, N.C.
