Betty Bernadette Velky Masney, 79, of Ballwin, Missouri, and formerly of Brownsville, Pa., died Tuesday, March 18, 2003 in Missouri. Her parents, Andrew Velky and Mary Gaydos Velky, are deceased.
She is survived by her loving husband, Stanley J. Masney; her dear daughter, Evelyn and her husband, Richard Herman, of Manchester, Missouri; grandchildren: David Herman and his wife Ann, Lisa and her husband Scott Schroeder, and Jason Herman and his wife Amanda Kelly Herman; great-grandchildren: Ryan Schroeder, Christopher Herman and Luke Herman; sisters: Helen Matash and Alice Kifus; brothers: Paul Velky and Andrew Velky; a sister-in-law; a Great Aunt, cousin and friends.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, March 25, at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville, Pa., with Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.
Entombment will follow in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
St. Mary’s Confraternity of Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary in the Funeral Home on Monday at 7 p.m.
