Rosalind G. (Gammon) Voelker

Rosalind G. (Gammon) Voelker, 86, of Uniontown, Pa., and formerly of O’Hara Township, Pa., passed away Thursday, March 20, 2003 in Policz’s Personal Care Home, Uniontown. She was born in Antioch, Nebraska, on May 17, 1916 daughter of John A. Gammon and Violet C. Wimmer Gamon.

Rosalind was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Wesley Class, United Methodist Women, and the Hopwood Garden Club.

She was a retired Pre-School Teacher from Fox Chapel United Methodist Church.

Rosalind was the last member of her immediate family.

Her beloved husband, Frederick D. Voelker Sr., three brothers, William, John, and Von Gammon, and parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her two sons: Frederick D. Voelker and his wife, Kathleen M., of Washington, Pa., and David W. Voelker and his wife, Kathleen S., of Uniontown, Pa.; four grandchildren: Laura E. Voelker, Stacy M. Voelker, Andrew D. Voelker and Scott M. Voelker; also several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Visitation continues on Monday, March 24, in Calvary United Methodist Church, 34 Clark Street, Uniontown, from 10 a.m. until the Service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Thomas Whitehead will officiate.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Calvary United Methodist Church Relay For Life or Calvary United Methodist Church After School Kids Program, 34 Clark Street, Uniontown, PA 15401.
