Rose Spitko Warish
Rose M. Spitko Warish, 79, of Republic, Pa., passed away Thursday, March 20, 2003 in Metro Skill West Nursing Home, Cleveland, Ohio. She was born April 8, 1923 in Filbert, Pa., daughter of Nicholas Spitko and Mary Sklar Spitko.
Rose was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in New Salem.
Her husband, John Warish, died in 1997. Also deceased are two sisters, Katherine Spitko and Anna Klebick.
She is survived by a son and two daughters: George Warish and Gloria Litchney both of Parma, Ohio, and Rose Marie Filley of Cleveland, Ohio; and three grandchildren: Gregory, Jessica and Shaun.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, March 24, until 10 a.m. when a Panachida Service will be held.
A Funeral Service follows at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, New Salem, with Rev. Fr. Jerome G. Botsko as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Parastas will be held in the Funeral Home today at 7 p.m.
