Taylor-Proden
Georgette Elizabeth Proden of Masontown and Daniel David Taylor of Pittsburgh were united in marriage on Aug. 10 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Pittsburgh. The bride is the daughter of Gary and Renee Proden and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Solomon, all of Masontown.
The bridegroom is the son of Timothy and Rose Taylor of Pittsburgh.
Daniel Berthold officiated the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown with Bateau neckline, full skirt with intricate pleats at hip and drop waistline, all embroidered in a mosaic pattern. A rhinestone tiara held a cathedral-length veil.
Catherine Yezbak, cousin of the bride, New York, N.Y., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lynn Proden, sister-in-law of the bride, Uniontown; Courtney Davis, cousin of the bride, New York, N.Y.; Meredith Davis, cousin of the bride, Uniontown; Jamie Taylor, sister of the bridegroom, Pittsburgh; Meredith Taylor, sister of the bridegroom, Pittsburgh, and Angelina Smith, Pittsburgh.
Kevyn Taylor, brother of the bridegroom, Pittsburgh, was best man. Groomsmen were Jeffrey Proden, brother of the bride, Uniontown; Francis Vargo Jr., Gregory Carlucci, Joshua Paull, Neil Daniels and Michael Smith, all of Pittsburgh.
A reception was held at the William Penn Hotel, Pittsburgh.
The bride is a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of arts degree in English.
The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science degree in finance. She is attending Widener Law School in Wilmington, Del.
The couple honeymooned in Nevis, West Indies. They reside in Newark, Del.
