Anna Nasta Misenko
Anna M. Nasta Misenko, 92, of Grindstone, Pa., passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2003 in Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe Pa.
She was born April 10, 1910, in Tarrs, Westmoreland County, Pa., daughter of John Nasta and Anna Hresko Nasta.
Anna was a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Grindstone.
Her husband, Michael J. Misenko, three sisters, Cecilia, Mary, Helena, three brothers, John, Joseph, George, and parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by one sister, Catherine Cenky of Ohio; three sisters-in-law: Agnes Nasta, Republic, Pa., Margaret Misenko, Cleveland, Ohio, and Pauline Misenko, Rowes Run, Pa.; stepson, Albert Misenko and his wife, Freda, of Michigan; special nephew and family: John Strucaly and his wife, Mary, and their family; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, March 26, at 9 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Grindstone, with Rev. Fr. John A. Sedlak as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Vigil Service will be held today at 3 p.m.
The Rosary Confraternity will recite the Partner Parish Rosary today at 7:30 p.m.
Visitation was also held Monday from 6 to 9 p.m.
