John M. Bonenberger, 49, of Harwick, Pa., died Friday, March 21, 2003 in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Oakland, Pittsburgh, Pa. He is survived by his beloved wife, Terry Bonenberger; son, John Bonenberger of Tarentum, Pa.; and one grandson.

Arrangements were under direction of the Richard Kucera Funeral Home, 127 East Fairview Avenue, Connellsville, Pa.

Harry J. Echard

Harry J. Echard, 87, of Alverton, Pa., died Sunday, March 23, 2003 H. C. in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa.

He is survived by his wife, Clarissa M. Ulery Echard; children: Delbert Echard of Stahlstown, Pa., Mrs. Kenneth (Maralee) Dugger of Kennerdell, Pa., and Mrs. David (Sherry) Sauter of Scottdale, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Emery W. Echard of New Stanton, Pa.; and sister, Mrs. Leroy (Dorothy) Anthony of Latrobe, Pa.

Joseph W. Hall Jr.

Joseph W. Hall Jr., 63, of Connellsville, Pa., died Friday, March 21, 2003 in University Community Hospital, Tampa, Florida.

He is survived by one son, Joseph E. Hall of Connellsville, Pa.; and one granddaughter.

Friends will be received at Vito C. Martucci Funeral Home, 123 South First Street, West Side, Connellsville, Pa., today, March 25, until 11 a.m.

Merle Prince

Merle S. Prince, 95, of Somerset, Pa., and formerly of Connellsville, Pa., died Sunday, March 23, 2003 in Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate.

He is survived by two brothers: Randall “Jack” Prince of Addison, Pa., and Charles H. Prince of Somerset, Pa.; and a sister, Cleda Younkin of Chesapeake, Virginia.

Friends will be received at Humbert Funeral Home, Logan Place, Confluence, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 26, until the Service at 11 a.m.

Harry J. Underwood, 70, of Scottdale, R. D. 1, East Huntingdon Township, Pa., died Saturday, March 22, 2003 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Newell Underwood; children: James Underwood of Scottdale, Pa., Rick Underwood of Mount Pleasant, Pa., and Diane Underwood Peters of Scottdale, R. D. 1, Pa.; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Homer Underwood of Bridgeport, Westmoreland County, Pa.; and sisters: Edna Mae Underwood Poorbaugh of Woodale, Pa., Mrs. Edwin (Alice Underwood) Booher and Mrs. Chris (Dorothy Underwood) Booher both of Mount Pleasant R. D. 4, Pa.

Friends will be received at Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 406 East Washington Street, Mount Pleasant, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 26, from 10 a.m. until the Service at 11 a.m.
