Helen H. (Hough) Rae, 83, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Sunday, March 23, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born August 19, 1919 in Markleysburg, Pa., daughter of Harry Hough and Jessie Myers Hough and she was also preceded in death by a niece, Xenia Hough Schelierff.

Helen was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, Uniontown Chapter No. 263 Order of The Eastern Star, Hopwood AMVETS Post 103 Auxiliary, and Third Presbyterian Quilting Club.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert F. Rae; one son, Robert L. Rae Sr. and his wife, Joanne, of Uniontown, Pa.; one grandson, Robert L. Rae Jr. and his wife, Sandee, of Texas; great grandson, Carson Davis Rae; one brother, Harry Hough and his wife, Sandy, and seven nieces all of Alaska.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where friends were received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Visitation will continue in Third Presbyterian Church, 425 Union Street, Uniontown, today, Wednesday, March 26, from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. William D. Rodahaver officiating.

Entombment will follow in Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.

Services were held on Tuesday evening by Chapter No. 263 Order of The Eastern Star at 7 p.m. and the Hopwood AMVETS Post 103 Ladies Auxiliary at 7:30 p.m.
