Marlin L. Guthrie
Marlin L. Guthrie, age 72, of Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Monday, March 24, 2003 in Uniontown Hospital. He was born February 20, 1931 in Uniontown, Pa., Son of the late Clarence Ray and Mary Mae Livengood Guthrie.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a Grandson, Peyton Guthrie.
Mr. Guthrie attended Union Chapel Church.
He was a Founding Member of the Mountain Fellowship Center.
He was a Graduate of Dunbar High School Class of 1949, a former Henry Clay Township Supervisor, was an Insurance Agent and a Retired Dairy Farmer.
He was a member of Laurel Lodge 651 F. & A. M. and the Pittsburgh Consistory.
He was a Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather!
Surviving are his loving wife, Lulu McNair Guthrie; children: Kevin Guthrie and wife, Michele, of Farmington, Pa., and Grenaville Guthrie and wife, Chrissanda, of Markleysburg, Pa.; Grandchildren: Shawna, Caycee, Brady and Jordan Guthrie; Brothers: Hagan Guthrie and wife, Arlene, of Dunbar, Pa., and Wendell Guthrie and wife, Loretta, of Markleysburg, Pa.; and Sister, Audrey Savage and husband, Clarence, of Markleysburg, Pa.
Friends will be received in the CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held Friday, March 28, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. David Herring and the Rev. Shirley Norman officiating.
Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg.
