Dayna and Steve Haferkamp of Carlsbad, Calif., announce the birth of their son, Grant Maxwell Haferkamp, born Feb. 21 at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla, Calif. Grandparents are Della and Don Cochran of Rices Landing and Clay and Carmen Haferkamp of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Elsie Gribble of Hillside Manor, 451 Oliver Road, Uniontown, a former Mt. Vernon Towers resident, will celebrate her 94th birthday on Monday.
Joshua James Lawver, son of Jack and Suzanne Lawver of Brownsville, celebrated his eighth birthday Wednesday. He is a second-grade student at Cox-Donahey School and a member of the California Rugrats Soccer Team. He has a brother, Benjamin, 1 1/2 years old. Grandparents are Eleanor Storey and Elizabeth Lawver of Brownsville. Great-grandmother is Marie Yeardie of Brownsville. A party at home will mark the occasion.
Vanessa Mae Rimbey, daughter of Charles and Lisa Rimbey of Brownsville, celebrated her fourth birthday Thursday with a party at her home. She has a sister, Alicia Marie, 11 months old. Grandparents are Charles Jr. and Joyce Rimbey and Ed Jr. and Pam Kudyba. Great-grandparents are Clyde Titler Sr., Edward Kudyba Sr. and Gladys Rimbey. Vanessa shares her special day with her late great-grandmother, Violet R. Kudyba.
