Alvin A. Crawford Sr.
Alvin A. Crawford Sr., age 83 years, of Point Marion, Pa., died Thursday, March 27,2003 in Preston Memorial Hospital, Kingwood, West Virginia. He was born June 15, 1919 in Brownsville, Pa., son of Alvin Crawford and Sylvia (Faye) Crawford.
He was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church, Lake Lynn, Pa.
His wife, Mary Louise Rizer Crawford, died July 10, 1995. Also deceased are two sons, Roger Dale Crawford and Donald Crawford, two sisters, Grace and Irene, and his parents.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Belle Crawford, Arthurdale, West Virginia; four sons: Alvin Jr., Masontown, Pa., Ronald, Hagerstown, Maryland, Randy, Point Marion, Pa., and Charles, Carmichaels, Pa.; 11 grandchildren: Robert Hewitt, Lorinda, Ronnie, Jennie, Johnny, Christina and Randy Crawford, Marie Frederick, Donald, Frank and Grace Myers; and six great grandchildren.
Friends were received in the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, 15 Main Street, Point Marion, Pa., on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel today (Monday, March 31) at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Brian Young officiating.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa.
