William J. and Catherine P. Chabanik of 47 Maurice St., Uniontown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria S., to Samuel J. Denny, son of Samuel F. and Mildred J. Denny of Upper Oliver 3, Uniontown. The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Uniontown Area Senior High School and a 2001 graduate of St. Vincent College with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is a procurement specialist at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc.

Her fianc’ is a 1995 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 1997 graduate of Dean Technical with an associate degree in electrical technology. He is attending the Community College of Allegheny College. He is an electrician employed by Local 5 Electrical Union.

A wedding for Sept. 27 is planned.
